Wooohoooo, about time I had a 5-star session, it's been a while! Maxed out the whole time with my 5m and my little wave board. Could have done with the 4.5m at times as now and then in the squalls I just got flattened. Quite a few big, scary jumps, some nice wave-riding once the wind swung around a bit too, and some beautiful gybes. I do ike gybing that board on a wave face, it loves it!!!

I went for a forward loop at one point and almost made it, but tweaked a muscle in my neck in the process, so didn't try it again!

I was pretty exhausted after an hour or so and started making silly mistakes, which I got punished for most times with some strangely satisfying najor rinsings. I don't know why, but I quite like getting washed around by several thousand tonnes of whitewater whilst well and truly attached to lots of carbon fibre and monofilm! A few of those and I decided as I was out on my own I'd better call it a day, so emerged covered in blood, bruised and battered with a big grin on my face.
